Personally my head is still spinning from what I heard, thought, argued and debated at our Open Space. It was a fascinating day, admirably moderated by Board Member Phelim McDermott, and clearly enjoyed by all. We are posting the session reports here because they provide a brilliant, garrulous, blue sky blueprint for what SDUK might be able to become within a few years.

There are many visionary thoughts here, and many practical suggestions, about contracts, diversity, dramaturgy, training, mentoring, working for nothing, co-authoring, devising, assisting, networking, outreach, copyright, fees, royalties, and child care – to mention but a few…..

We have taken some of the ideas on board already: the rest must be cherished, developed and drawn on over the next few years as we build a new organisation together. These session reports are compulsory reading for all who want to help fashion SDUK into something really special.
